Watching Lil' C

One of my favorite things to do right now is watch Lil' C.  She is 20 months old and has the most amazing personality.  I often find myself staring at her for long periods of time in complete fascination.  Here are some of the things that I absolutely love to watch.....

-I love to watch the excited expression when it is 5pm and "Geege" (aka Curious George) comes on the TV.  She shakes with glee to hear that theme song :)

-I smile every time we read Goodnight Moon because she always looks at the first page with the empty rocker and says, "Uh, oh....Where's ta Mommy?"  Then we flip a few pages and she shouts out, "There se is!".  Nobody ever pointed out the missing mommy, she figured it out on her own :)

-I love the way her hips sway from side to side when she saunters about the room. 

-I love the way her body shakes when she runs and the fact that she runs with straight legs :)

-I love that she is a super mommy's girl and will snuggle with me whenever she is shy (she is not a snuggler so I will take it when I can get it).

-I love that her face lights up when I come into the room and she cries out "Mommy" with the sweetest loving voice.  This happens even if I have been gone for only a few minutes :)

-I love to listen and watch her "read" books we have read a million times.  She copies my intonation on the different pages and has it PERFECT :)

-I love that we have about an hour alone together in the morning before anyone wakes up.  I love snuggle with her curly head and read books, play tea party or cars ("Vrrrrrrrr").

-I love the way she says, "Bye-eeee"

-I love that she waves and greets strangers in the store

-I love the way she runs up to her brother before she goes to bed and gives him the biggest bear hug.

I love my Lil' C!!!!
